Athens Photo FestivalJune 2013
Halt is an order to stop. This pausing of action allows the observation of changes that happen slow and unintentionally as a result of the constant interaction between humans with the landscape. The sheer volume of information we intake obstruct our observational capacities, and often it is considered that what happens today is eternal and inevitable. This situation considered inescapable. Capturing single snapshots of this repeating, ongoing frame of changes allows me to question what has been and what will come to be. A disjointed narration is therefore formed, that allows the viewer to create their own sequence of events.
